The Farmhouse Pantry at Wheatacre Hall Farm, Norfolk

Wheatacre, Beccles, Norfolk

The raw milk at The Farmhouse Pantry comes from cows that graze the fields around it in summer. The Pantry is the farm shop at Wheatacre Hall Farm, a dairy and arable farm run by the Burroughs family in the Waveney Valley, right where Norfolk meets Suffolk at the southern tip of the Broads. In England raw milk has to be sold by the farm whose cows gave it. That's why you'll never see it in a supermarket, and why a farm like this is worth knowing about. Wheatacre is on the Food Standards Agency's register of raw drinking milk producers, inspected in May 2026, and on the Raw Milk Producers Association's map. The Pantry used to trade as the Wheatacre Hall Farm Pantry. Alongside the milk it sells food from the farm's own cows, plus bread, meat, fruit and veg. It's open every day, and until six from Thursday to Saturday. The Farmhouse Kitchen next door does breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, and the family let eight converted barns on the same farm if an afternoon isn't long enough. Take a cool bag. That's the only planning it needs.
