With a hand weaving studio based by the River Dee in the North East of Scotland, my work is inspired by the dramatic landscapes and seascapes which surround me. The unique textiles I design and make are created by blending heritage craft techniques with contemporary design. Hand weaving with natural fibres on multi-shaft looms, rug tufting and natural dyeing are just a few of the techniques I use. As I transition my practice towards a fully traceable and sustainable approach, I hope that my designs will connect you with this special place and tell you a story through pattern and colour.
